Edmonton police are seeking information about a man suspected of robbing a vape shop near Kingsway and 105 Street on May 5. The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) said in a Tuesday news release that the man entered the shop at about 9:21 p.m., displayed a knife and bear spray, and stole merchandise. He then got into the passenger side of a vehicle and fled.

Police described the vehicle as a dark blue 2009 to 2011 Mazda Tribute SUV with a black roof rack and a tinted rear passenger-side window. The suspect is described as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10, with a medium build and a light brown beard.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, white loafers and black sunglasses, and carrying a green shopping bag. EPS is asking anyone with information about the suspect or the vehicle to call 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.

The report was published by the Edmonton Journal, which also listed related coverage about a man seen with a missing Edmonton man and two children who was identified by EPS, and a separate police search for suspects in a northwest Edmonton store robbery.
