OilersNation has reported:

Edmonton Oilers defenceman Jake Walman will appear on Monday’s edition of The Price Is Right Tonight alongside three other current NHL players. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET on Citytv and be available to stream on Citytv+ at 6 p.m. MT. The Oilers are not scheduled to play Monday.

The National Hockey League announced the group on X on October 15, 2026. Walman will be joined by New York Islanders defenceman Matthew Schaefer, Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson and Seattle Kraken defenceman Brandon Montour. Toronto Maple Leafs legend Wendel Clarke will also be featured.

The episode was filmed in June, more than a month after the Oilers were eliminated from the 2026 postseason. Edmonton’s playoff run lasted six games. After a difficult 2025-26 regular season, Walman was the team’s best defenceman during that series of games.

Walman, a left-shot defenceman, has been known for his personality on and off the ice. His past celebrations include a “griddy” while playing for the Detroit Red Wings and a shimmy shake after scoring an overtime winner against the Ottawa Senators last season. He has also made TikTok videos that went viral.

His start to the 2026-27 season has been limited to four games, with no points, a minus-3 rating and four penalty minutes. In his most recent appearance, on October 7, the 30-year-old blocked a shot. He has not played since.

The Oilers’ next game is Saturday, a rematch against the Utah Mammoth, who defeated Edmonton on Thursday evening. After that, Edmonton will begin a five-game homestand. The team is scheduled to face the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, the Toronto Maple Leafs on October 24, the Red Wings on October 26 and the Calgary Flames on October 28.

Walman has previously drawn attention for his celebrations and videos, and the show’s NHL episode brings him together with players from four teams. The schedule leaves Edmonton off the ice Monday, when the programme is set to air.
