Phys.org has reported:
Researchers have developed physics-guided artificial intelligence to reconstruct hidden magnetic patterns inside ultrathin magnets using external field measurements. Understanding nanoscale magnetic materials could help build faster, more energy-efficient computers.
Modern microscopes measure the magnetic field outside these tiny materials, rather than the patterns within them. Since different internal patterns can produce the same external field, working backwards has long been difficult.
