Phys.org has reported:

The CMS and LHCb collaborations presented research into rare particle decays at the recent International Conference on High Energy Physics (ICHEP). Their work examines the transformation of a beauty quark into a strange quark, a muon and an oppositely charged antimuon (b→sμ⁺μ⁻).

Rare processes provide stringent tests of the Standard Model, the source text says. The research was presented as a way to investigate possible deviations from the model’s predictions.
