RaceFans has reported:

Cadillac is making visible progress in its first Formula 1 season despite not yet scoring a point, driver Valtteri Bottas said on Oct. 14, 2026. The team operates partly from a base at Silverstone, a short distance from Mercedes’ factory in Brackley.

“We are definitely seeing an improvement somewhere every weekend,” Bottas told the Financial Times. “It’s not necessarily in the results yet, but it’s in how we operate as a team in different areas.”

Asked whether Cadillac’s facilities are better than those of Mercedes, the team that has won world championships, Bottas replied: “I would say so.”

Bottas won all 10 of his Formula 1 grands prix with Mercedes. He drove for the team from 2017 to 2021, before joining Cadillac for its debut season.

The report was published by RaceFans at 11:22 a.m. on Oct. 14 and written by Keith Collantine. Collantine founded the site in 2005, when it was called F1 Fanatic, and began running it full-time in 2010 after working as a motoring journalist.

The article also listed other Formula 1 coverage: teams need to decide “by mid-October” whether the final races will go ahead; the series plans to race in Rwanda from the “early 2030s”; Fernando Alonso criticized the engine after Isack Hadjar easily re-passed him; Charles Leclerc said his Ferrari began braking on its own because of a mid-race fault; and a report examined why no radio message carried the virtual safety car instruction that prompted Lewis Hamilton’s apology.
