Sherwood Park News has reported:

Albertans can vote in the provincial referendum during advance voting from Oct. 13 to Oct. 17 or on referendum day, Oct. 19. During advance voting, electors may use any location in their electoral division. On referendum day, they must cast their ballot at the polling station assigned to their home address.

In the Sherwood Park and Strathcona County area, advance voting sites include Broadmoor Golf Course, Four Points by Sheraton Sherwood Park, Park Place Professional Building, Ardrossan Recreation Complex, Emerald Hills Shopping Centre, F.R. Haythorne School and Whitecroft Community Hall.

Elections Alberta provides an online voting-location tool. Residents can enter their home address to see advance voting sites, Election Day polling locations and returning office information. Voting details are also available on voter information cards or by contacting Elections Alberta.

Across the province, Election Day polling stations are commonly set up in schools, churches, community halls and other public buildings. Residents planning to participate are encouraged to check their location beforehand, review the referendum questions and select the voting option that works for them. More information is available through Elections Alberta.
