Notley and Kenney to share Edmonton stage before Alberta separation vote

Former Alberta premiers Jason Kenney and Rachel Notley are scheduled to speak today at an Edmonton event in support of keeping the province in Canada. The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is hosting the two former political rivals in the provincial capital.

Kenney, who led the United Conservative Party, defeated Notley’s NDP government in 2019. Their appearance comes days before Albertans vote Monday on 10 referendum questions.
