Global News Edmonton has reported:
Kevin’s Natural Foods issued a recall Friday for a turkey gravy product sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan because it contains mustard that is not declared on its ingredients label, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said. The CFIA said no reactions linked to the product have been reported.
The agency warned people with a mustard allergy or sensitivity not to consume the recalled gravy. “Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction,” the CFIA said. It also advised: “Do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products.”
The CFIA is investigating the recall and working to confirm the product has been removed from store shelves.
