RaceFans has reported:

Four drivers were involved in a pit-lane collision during the Japanese Super Formula race at Fuji on Oct. 11, 2026. Nirei Fukuzumi was released into the path of Williams junior Luke Browning, who slowed as the cars came together.

Syun Koide then struck Browning from behind. The impact lifted Koide’s car off the ground as Rikutu Kobayashi ran into him. The account described the crash as bizarre, but provided no further details about injuries, damage or any response from race officials.

The report was published at 1:27 p.m. on Oct. 11 by Keith Collantine. Collantine set up RaceFans in 2005, when the site was originally called F1 Fanatic, and began running it full-time in 2010 after previously working as a motoring journalist. He described that work as fulfilling a long-held ambition to focus fully on his passion for motor racing.

Other items listed alongside the report concerned two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Johncock’s death at age 90, Lando Norris testing McLaren’s MCL-HY WEC hypercar at Algarve, a GT3 racer pulling a rival from a burning car after a crash in Shanghai, and Palou clinching his fifth IndyCar championship in seven years. The page also included unrelated text about Antonelli being quick in Formula 4 and Mercedes swapping his engine to check.
