RaceFans has reported:

Valtteri Bottas won the Turkish Grand Prix five years ago, earning his 10th career victory and his most recent win to date. Max Verstappen finished second to reclaim the championship lead from Lewis Hamilton in the rain-soaked race.

Hamilton had been fastest in qualifying but started 11th after a penalty for a power unit change. He finished fifth. Esteban Ocon claimed the final point in 10th place despite making no pit stop and completing the entire race on the same set of intermediate tyres.

Ocon’s result was helped when Alfa Romeo driver Antonio Giovinazzi did not follow an instruction to let his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen pass. The race marked Bottas’ first victory in Turkey.

The race anniversary account also referenced other Formula 1 developments, including Bottas showing Hamilton the way as he atoned for what Hamilton called the “worst race of my career” in Turkey. It also listed coverage of Verstappen keeping sprint race pole position after passing Hamilton under yellow flags, and of Carlos Sainz criticising the FIA over a qualifying error that left some drivers down on power.

Other listed reports said the FIA confirmed some drivers lost power in qualifying because of an Overtake Mode error, Verstappen beat George Russell to pole but faced an investigation over a yellow-flag incident, and Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff described claims that the team favoured Andrea Kimi Antonelli over Russell as “brainless” and “nonsensical.”
