CTV News Calgary has reported:

A mobile mammography trailer will offer free breast cancer screening in Langdon, Alta., from Oct. 29 through 31. Primary Care Alberta (PCA) said it will be parked in the Save-On-Foods lot at #101 97 Centre Street S.W.

Screenings are free, but appointments are required. Eligible people can book by calling 1-800-667-0604; the number also provides additional information. PCA is encouraging those who qualify to attend.

“Screening mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment may work better,” PCA said in a release issued Thursday. “Getting screened for breast cancer saves lives.”
