CTV News Edmonton has reported:

The City of Edmonton is repairing 20 streetlights in Bellevue after they were vandalized and stripped of copper wire. The theft was reported to 311 late last month.

The city said Thursday that the damage and repair work are more complex than a typical outage. “Due to the severity of the damage and complexity of repairs, more time is required than is typical for outage repairs,” a city statement said.

Repairs are expected to be complete by the end of next week, subject to unforeseen issues or weather delays.
