“Lloydminster RCMP recognize that reports of firearms or violence in a school can be traumatic for students, staff, parents, and the broader community,” Sgt. Christopher Byford of the Lloydminster RCMP said in a news release. He also acknowledged the school’s staff for their professionalism and preparedness, saying: “The school’s training and emergency response procedures were implemented quickly and effectively, contributing to the safe resolution of this incident.”
