Three people are facing drug and weapons-related charges after Calgary police seized drugs and firearms during a trafficking investigation. Police described the amount of drugs found as “significant.”
The investigation began in June. Officers identified multiple suspects and two homes they believed were connected to drug trafficking. The residences, in the 200 block of Riverstone Place S.E. and the 2800 block of First Street N.W., were searched on Sept. 29.
Two people were arrested during the searches, while a third was taken into custody during a traffic stop. Police said the charges against all three relate to drugs and weapons. The source report did not specify the seized items beyond saying drugs and firearms were found.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 403-266-1234. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
