Phys.org has reported:
Francis Halzen won the Nobel Prize in physics on Tuesday for work on neutrinos, tiny cosmic particles scientists believe can offer clues to how the universe evolved. The physicist spoke proudly on Wednesday about promoting artificial intelligence early in his neutrino research.
Halzen has earned many academic accolades, but said the Nobel Prize’s arrival each October had left him “miserable” when he did not win.
