Simple Plan will perform at Edmonton’s Rogers Place on Jan. 29 as part of an expansion of the band’s 25th-anniversary world tour. Yellowcard and Bowling For Soup will also take the stage at the concert.
Live Nation announced 14 Canadian dates on Tuesday. Organizers said the shows mark Simple Plan’s first Canadian headlining tour in 10 years. The band has been touring the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The Canadian leg begins in British Columbia, then stops in Edmonton and Calgary on Jan. 31 before heading east across the country during February. Tickets go on presale Tuesday, with general sales starting Friday.
One dollar from every ticket sold will go to the Simple Plan Foundation, which supports young people in need.
