RaceFans has reported:

Mark Walter, chief executive of TWG Global, is looking to sell part of his holding in Cadillac’s Formula 1 team, according to a Wall Street Journal report published on Nov. 3, 2026. TWG Global holds a majority stake in the team, and the proposed sale would value it at $3 billion (£2.24 billion), the report said.

Walter, a billionaire, is seeking to raise money while facing an investigation into lending between insurance companies he owns and other businesses with which he is connected. The report named Fenway Sports Group as a potential buyer of the stake.

Fenway Sports Group owns NASCAR team RFK Racing, English Premier League football club Liverpool and Major League Baseball team the Boston Red Sox. The report did not identify other potential buyers or provide a timeline for a sale.

RaceFans published its brief on Nov. 3 at 23:43 and attributed the information to the Wall Street Journal. Its accompanying Formula 1 headlines included an item stating that Esteban Ocon would not return to drive for Haas and that Camara would take over in Brazil.
